The pump is leaking The rubber o-ring or the mechanical seal are failing Send the pump to the nearest authorized repair center Inlet-outlet ports fittings are loose or sealant failed Apply new sealant or tape and tighten the fittings. Ensure sealant does not fall into the pump The relief valve cap or the strainer cap are loose Tighten the cap Strainer cap o-ring or relief valve o-ring are damaged Contact Fluid-o-Tech for spare parts The motor stalls or overloads and cuts off Lime and mineral deposits in the pump have caused it to stop Send the pump to the nearest authorized repair center The pump and the motor are misaligned Turn the motor off and disconnect it from the power supply. Remove the pump from the motor. After remounting the pump onto the motor make sure it is aligned The motor may be defective Contact your motor supplier The motor may be wired for the wrong voltage Ensure wiring is correct by checking it against the wiring diagram The pump is working below capacity Inlet port is obstructed or restricted Clean the inlet inlet line. Clean or replace the filter if present The pump is rotating in the wrong direction Change the motor rotation by checking the wiring against the wiring diagram Relief valve setting is not correct Contact the nearest Fluid-o-Tech distributor for resetting Wear and tear of internal parts Have the pump rebuilt by your Fluid-o-Tech authorized repair center Low motor rpm Ensure your motor is working properly and check the frequency rating (50 Hz or 60 Hz) The pump is noisy The pump and the motor are misaligned Turn the motor off and disconnect it from the power supply. Remove the pump from the motor. After remounting the pump onto the motor make sure it is aligned O-ring or gasket on the domed nut or strainer cap is defective Replace the o-ring or the gasket. Do not tamper with the relief valve. Contact your nearest Fluid-oTech repair center Coupling, mounting bolt or V-band clamp is loose Turn the motor off and disconnect it from the power.
